About This Project

Boyds Bay Landscaping were contracted by Bundaberg Regional Council to complete landscaping works to Midtown Riverside Park. Flood damage from extremely heavy rains had rendered the riverside damaged and seriously eroded, with loss of buildings and side walks.
“Once complete, the riverbank restoration work will provide the Bundaberg Region with a new user-friendly riverine area that will showcase the Burnett River” (Bundaberg Mayor Mal Forman)
“It will not only be a modern, picturesque public space complete with facilities, walkways and landscaping but it will also be a vital piece of infrastructure designed to protect and reinforce the riverbank. It’s a very positive outcome.” (Source: Noosa News, 27 March 2014, http://www.noosanews.com.au/news/funding-help-midtown-marina-project-get-under-way/2211749/)
