BADGE CONSTRUCTIONS: VR Atlantis Project Stage 1

About This Project

When tourists picture the Gold Coast they think of the beaches, nightlife and the theme parks. Village Roadshow Parks form a big part of these picture with the big 3 in their lineup: Movieworld, Wet’n’Wild and Sea World. Combining a marine mammal park, oceanarium, and theme park, Sea World has operated on The Spit since 1971. Announced in May 2019, the Atlantis Project will see the creation of new world within the park themed after the mythical lost city. The Vortex is the first of 3 rides that will feature in the new area but the opening has been delayed until December 2020.

 

With the park closed to the public for the majority of the project, the team from Boyds Bay Landscaping were free to complete works without interruption alongside the excellent team from Badge Constructions. It was a great opportunity to contribute to such an iconic Gold Coast location.
